All New Virtual Reality Experience

Opening March 8, 2013

A virtual reality console will be added to enhance the existing HMS General Hunter Exhibit, located in the OPG Feature Gallery.  It will allow guests to experience what it might have been like to sail the HMS General Hunter, a Royal Navy Brigantine in the War of 1812.  It will be comprised of one interactive touch board and a ship’s tiller rudder assembly. The touch board will provide the learners with an interactive and historical experience designed to entertain the whole family.
