Food for Thought Lunches – Tuesdays in July & August

Tuesdays, through July & August, join us for lunches on the patio, featuring local producers and suppliers. You will have an opportunity to talk with the farmers, the B&B owners, etc. to find out more about their products and services, as well as enjoy a wonderful lunch overlooking the waters of Fairy Lake!

Lunches will move indoors for inclement weather.

Adult Lunches – $11 (including tax)

Children’s Lunches – ages 12 & under – $6 (including tax)

July 5 – Johnson Creek Ranch, Kincardine

Come and meet a Texas Long Horned Steer in person on the front lawn of the Museum – 11am – 2pm.

Beef on a bun, hot dogs, salad, dessert, lemonade

July 12 – The Ark Organic Vegetables & Native Plants –B&B – Tiverton

Homemade Pizza with pick of the garden toppings, ginger snaps, mint drink

July 19 –  WoolDrift Farm – Markdale – Dairy Sheep Operation

Greek Chicken Salad Pitas, strawberry loaf, lemonade

July 26 – Grass Roots Rural Retreat – Lucknow

Lentil pecan patty with roasted red pepper sauce, summer salad, quinoa brownie with raspberries, lemonade

Aug. 2 – Delicious Dishes (Sunny Brook Farm), Wiarton

Local tomato & onion tart, tossed salad, fruity dessert, lemonade

Aug. 9 – Highlands of Paisley

Vegetarian tortellini, tomatoes & basil, cookies, lemonade

Aug. 16 – Pheasant Hill Farm, Kincardine

Pheasant pot pie, salad, cookies, lemonade

Aug. 23 – Southampton Meat Market & Saugeen Shores Community Garden

Homemade sausage pasta, Community Garden vegetables, seasonal fruit loaf, lemonade
