Everyday Heroes – Museum In A Suitcase

Print This Post Print This Post

Sponsored by the Kincardine CHAT program, this interactive educational box is designed to bring the Museum to your classroom.  The box contains Museum artifacts, a full lesson plan, a variety of activities with worksheets for you to complete with your class, a rubric for you to evaluate the students, and follow-up activities for the class.  The case compliments the Ontario Social Studies Curriculum and the Ontario Language Curriculum and provides an integrated, interactive, and fun experience for you and your students.

The Everyday Heroes suitcase is full of fun for all students.  They will listen to a story of an everyday hero and learn about the heroes all around them.  They will be able to hold Museum artifacts associated with each of the everyday heroes and make a guess as to which object goes with which everyday hero.  They will learn that you do not have to do something special to be a hero!
