Ghostly Guardians of The Bruce Coast

Bruce County has a rich marine history, with lighthouses playing an essential role in the safety of ships sailing the dangerous and often deadly waters of Lake Huron.

Through a guided tour of the lighthouse exhibit, students will learn about the lighthouses, discuss how strong and stable they are, as well as how they impacted the environment.

Then they will identify man made and natural structures in the environment.  Finally, they will design and test their own stable structures, bridges.  Which group can design the most stable bridge?  We will have to wait and see!
