Archaeological excavation is done very carefully in layers, and according to a special plan.  Students will learn about the archaeological process, from excavating to mapping, with an emphasis on data collection, analysis, decision-making and reporting while they uncover the wreck of the “Fox”.  Through careful investigation, students will be able to discover the story behind the wreck.
