Half Day Program
Come explore the outdoors via an interactive guide outside the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre. This program is fantastic for any grade from Kindergarten to High School. The hike can be catered to the science, geography and even social sciences curriculum within each grade level. This includes (but is not limited to) the changing seasons and cycles and how things grow (grades 1-3), habitats and sustainability (all grades), biodiversity and interactions (grades 6 & 7), and/or lakes and what they provide for our ecosystem (grade 8 or any). This program can also include how First Nations would have used the environment (grade 3-8) or the changing geology and geography of our planet to tie in with multiple geography themes. Feel free to contact us for more information on how to cater this program to your teaching plan. Runs all year round.
