Join us for this very special exhibit opening, as guest curator and Saugeen First Nation Member Dr. Bimadoshka Pucan brings us voices from the past with Anishniaabeg songs and stories recorded in 1938 by Robert and Eliza Thompson. This oral history, given in Anishinaabwemowin and English, recorded onto wax cylinders and discs was rediscovered and digitized leading to this exhibit, now showing for the first time in Bruce County. Learn more about this amazing journey and Anishinaabe culture as we open “Voices of Chief’s Point”. This exhibit was developed in partnership with Museum London, Saugeen First Nation, University of Western Ontario, and funded in part by the Government of Canada.
