Each spring, they travel northward to another part of the world for one purpose … to earn a living in support of their families. They are the migrant workers from Mexico who come to Canada under the Seasonal Farm Workers programs. “Fields of Dreams” is an extraordinary photography exhibit featuring the stories of these workers who they leave their families, homes and culture for six months to earn a living and bring their valuable skills to harvest crops in Saugeen Shores. It is their faith, knowledge, work ethic and their desire for a better life for families that keeps them returning each year to their Fields of Dreams, where dreams for their families can be realized.
Proudly presented by Community Foundation Grey Bruce. This exhibit was created in partnership with Hi-Berry Farms with support from the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation and Consulate General of Mexico.
