2018 Bruce County Women’s Show

May 5, 2018, 11:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
The 2018 Bruce County Women’s Show will feature a trade and fashion show, speakers, food, music and entertainment with amazing door prizes as well as a special designer handbags fundraiser for the Huron Shores Hospice. Panel Discussions: “The Power of Women Transforming our Communities” with Anne Eadie, Cheryl Grace, Colleen Schenk and Lisa Thompson. $25.00 Admission in advance or $30 at the door. This event is a series, you may need to attend all dates.  Having the confidence to manage all aspects of your life including daily activities and your medical needs – we call these skills “self management skills”.  This free and effective 6 week self management program developed and researched at Stanford University is now offered around the world!  You should attend this workshop if:

  • You are someone with a chronic health condition (high blood pressure, arthritis, heart disease, stroke, Parkinson’s disease, asthma/COPD, diabetes, osteoporosis, obesity etc.)
  • You are interested in learning how to better manage your chronic condition
  • You are caring for someone living with a chronic condition
  • Your health care provider feels you would benefit from attending

Participants will receive a copy of the book ‘Living a Healthy Life with Chronic Conditions’.  this program is offered by the South West LHIN.
