Volunteer

Volunteers are the building blocks of our Museum. All our activities and programs depend on the assistance of dedicated volunteers.

Group Tours & Rates

Bring your group for a visit. The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is the ideal destination for travel groups, families, clubs, school groups and teams looking for a memorable experience!

Group Rates

Groups of 10 people or more $6.00 (+HST) per person for those ages 13 and up.

Guided tours are a great way to discover more about Bruce County history through the Museum’s exhibits, collections and archives. Guided tours are offered by trained volunteers or staff guides. Two weeks notice is required. Minimum group size of 10 people. Groups larger than 20 people may be divided into smaller tour groups.

Ideas for Full-Day Tours of the Museum and Area Attractions

Marine and More Chantry Island, located just offshore in Southampton, features an enchanting keeper’s home and lighthouse, as well as a bird sanctuary. Chantry Island is open for tours during the summer season. Consider a day that includes a tour of the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre, a fresh Lake Huron Whitefish lunch at one of the delicious restaurants in Southampton and a boat trip tour to Chantry Island.
