Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre Welcomes New Development Officer

SOUTHAMPTON, ON [April 6, 2022] The BCM&CC is pleased to announce that Renata Bell has officially joined the Museum team in the position of Development Officer.

Renata has over ten years of progressive experience working in the philanthropic sector, most recently in a community hospital foundation setting with St. Joseph’s Health Centre Foundation (Toronto). Her experience includes community engagement, event planning, corporate partnerships, fundraising, stewardship, and volunteer management.  Renata holds a diploma in Public Relations and Communication as well as an Honors Certificate in Fundraising and Volunteer Management both from Humber College.

Renata and her family are no strangers to Bruce County as they have strong ties to Saugeen Shores and have chosen to relocate from the GTA to Southampton.

“As we all know the last couple of years have been challenging and we are thrilled to have Renata on board as we emerge out of the pandemic and are able to increase our outreach and in-person engagement,” says Cathy McGirr, Director, Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre.
