Join us for an artist-led presentation of our exhibit Homage: Inspired by Outstanding Canadian Women. Arist Donald Stuart will take you through his nationally touring collection of 41 framed neckpieces, created as a celebration and tribute to Canadian women throughout the ages and across the country. Stuart will also survey his early career, including his founding of the Pangnirtung Weaving Studio in what is now Nunavut, one of only three dedicated studios in the world that creates commissioned tapestries.

About Donald Stuart  

As one of Canada’s leading gold/silversmiths, Donald Stuart has earned an international reputation for his work in jewelry, hollowware and architectural installations. During his celebrated career, Stuart has received over 30 significant awards for his artistry in gold, silver, platinum, and diamonds, including the top prizes in many competitions. He has participated in numerous national and international exhibitions and has been the subject of many one-man shows. Mr. Stuart’s work is found in national, international, public, corporate, and private collections. He is constantly in demand to give lectures and workshops across North America and beyond.
