Drop in one last time to explore our exhibit Realism in Fantasy before it is gone! Through casual conversations artist Yükselle Hassan will be able to answer questions related to the exhibit, her artistic style, and even some insight into previous works. Stop by any time between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM for this self-guided visit. Coffee, tea, and treats will be provided.

About Yükselle Hassan 

A graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts—University of Mimar Sinan in Istanbul, Türkiye, Yükselle Hassan moved to Toronto, Canada, in 1971. During her time in Toronto, she worked for Scholastic Canada Ltd. from 1979 to 2009, first as a graphic designer and later as an art director.  

 

In 2009, Yükselle relocated to Southampton, Ontario, where she now resides and paints full-time. She is a member of the Southampton Arts Centre, where her most recent solo exhibition was held in September 2022.
