Take Time to Remember With Us

10:15 AM & 1:15 PM

Join us for a screening of local historian Mat Johnson’s interview with award-winning Canadian military history author Tim Cook, then join Mat in the trenches of “Bruce Remembers” as he interprets the exhibit.

Tim Cook is the Director of Research at the Canadian War Museum. He was the curator for the First World War permanent gallery at the CWM, and has curated additional temporary, travelling, and digital exhibitions. He is the author of twelve books and over one-hundred academic articles and book chapters. In 2012, Tim was awarded the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee medal for his contributions to Canadian history and in 2013 he received the Governor General’s History Award for Popular Media: The Pierre Berton Award. Tim is a Director for Canada’s History Society, a fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, and a member of the Order of Canada.

If you have a question for Tim, please submit them by October 15 by completing the below form, your questions will be asked during the interview. Once your question is submitted, you will also be entered in a draw for a chance to win a copy of Tim Cook’s book “The Fight for History.”

All COVID-19 procedures are in place for visitation and events, per Provincial and Grey Bruce Health Unit guidelines.
