DESCRIPTION:The Biinaagami Water Map is a giant floor map that uses augmented reality (AR) to take visitors through the Great Lakes—St. Lawrence watershed\, giving voice to the waters and amplifying Indigenous knowledge and histories. The map is enriched with storytelling—highlighting diverse languages\, the Indigenous names of these waterbodies\, and the history of the land among this network of waterways.   \nThe Water Map will be open for public exploration in the Bruce Gallery. Some iPads and headsets will be available for accessing the AR features\, but we encourage you to use your own devices\, using the AVARA Discover app linked below.  \n  \nDownload the app in advance of your visit OR once you arrive:  \nAVARA Discover – Apps on Google Play  \n‎AVARA Discover App – App Store  \n  \nMembers FREE; General Admission Applies.
