DESCRIPTION:Free Admission| 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM \nEnjoy Free Admission to the Museum on Sunday\, August 2\, in celebration of the Southampton Arts Festival. During your visit\, explore Taylor Cameron’s Woodland People exhibit in the Bruce Gallery\, featuring paintings that delve into the history and rich culture of the Woodland people who existed in this territory for time immemorial.  \n  \nUnveiling of the Fabric of Our Being Quilt Project | 1:00 PM  \nThe Fabric of Our Being Quilt project began in February\, hosted by artist and President’s Poet Nadine Williams\, who spoke on the International Decade for People of African Descent—a UN initiative recognizing the contributions\, histories\, and rights of people of African descent\, and encouraging communities to celebrate diversity. The project invited members of the community to design a quilt square reflecting on these themes and their own identities. The quilt squares have been sewn into a completed 6ft x 7ft quilt.  \nJoin us for this special unveiling of the Fabric of Our Being Quilt and celebration of the community.
