DESCRIPTION:September 17 | 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM   \nThe Witness Blanket is a powerful art installation created by master carver Carey Newman to recognize the atrocities of the residential school era\, honour the children and symbolize ongoing reconciliation. This film follows the process of building the Witness Blanket and reveals how its creation helped uncover truth\, acknowledge pain\, and highlight resilience. We will be joined virtually by a member of the collection team for the Witness Blanket\, Marek Tyler\, who will speak about the installation and answer questions from the audience.   \nFREE to attend. Preregistration is required to save your seats. Light refreshments will be available.  \nREGISTER >>
