Marine Heritage Festival Opening

Ahoy Mateys! Get ready for the 12th Annual Marine Heritage Festival, happening this summer from July 21-23!

The opening night launch party will again take place at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre and we encourage all ages to come on down for some marine-themed fun, with free admission from 5-9 PM.

4:30 PM – 5:00 PM – Registration for Kid’s Bike Festival (at Fairy Lake)

5:00 PM – 6:30 PM – Kid’s Bike Festival around Fairy Lake

4:00 PM – 6:30 PM – Summer Jazz Gala Finale in the Museum Theatre

5:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Captain Sparrow’s Corn Roast BBQ, hosted by the Saugeen Shores Rotary

7:30 PM – Official Opening Ceremony of Festival, Blessing by Shirley John.

Live entertainment to follow the opening ceremony, inclujding original Chantry Shanty songs and John Stewart.

5:00 PM – 9:00 PM – FREE admission to the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre

8:00 PM – 9:00 PM – Ghost Walk around Fairy Lake, hosted by the Bruce County Playhouse.
