Research at Home with Heather Callaghan: Using the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre (Archives) websites (Virtual, via Zoom)

February 12 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Heather will start with an introduction to the BCM&CC website with a special focus on the Research page. We will explore how to browse the vast resource that is the museum’s Online Collections as well as the recently added Bruce County Historic Newspapers site. Lastly, we’ll discuss Bruce Remembers, which is a site to commemorate the people who served our country in defense of freedom. It contains information about Bruce County individuals in military service, battalions, cemeteries, and monuments.

Within these resources lies a treasure trove of information that we can use for our family genealogy, which is truly exciting!
