Marine Heritage Festival Launch Party

Ahoy, Mateys! Get ready for the annual Marine Heritage Festival, happening this summer from July 25-27! The opening night launch party will take place at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre on Friday, July 25, and we encourage all ages to join the marine-themed fun, with free admission from 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM.

 

Itinerary:

 

4:30 PM – 5:00 PM – Registration for the Kid’s Bike Rally at Fairy Lake, with races by age category from 5:00 PM – 6:30 PM.

5:00 PM – 9:00 PM – FREE admission to the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre.

5:00 PM – 6:15 PM – Family Fun Music & Sing-Along with Entertainer, Richard Knechtel. Online pre-registration encouraged – Details and link to registration below!

5:00 PM – Registration for the Chantry Time-Trek Adventure in the Museum backyard. The history walks to meet the mariners of Southampton’s past will take place from 7:30 PM to 8:45 PM around Fairy Lake. (Early onsite registration encouraged)

5:00 PM – 8:00 PM – Captain Sparrow’s Corn Roast BBQ, hosted by the Saugeen Shores Rotary (food & drink by cash, debit, or credit)

6:30 PM – Opening Ceremony – Blessing by Saugeen First Nation Elder Shirley John, Greetings from Bruce County Warden Luke Charbonneau and more, followed by live music with John Stewart.

 

This evening is FREE.

 

No registration required for on-floor programming. Walk-ins welcome!
