Elora Adventure Film Festival highlights set to feature at Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre March 21

Bruce County, Ontario: The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is excited to present Muse-Talks: Highlights from the 2024 Elora Adventure Film Festival with Ian Evans on Friday, March 21. Taking place from 7:00 PM – 10:00 PM in the Museum’s Bruce Power Theatre, this event will bring the spirit of adventure to Bruce County, offering an inspiring evening of short films and storytelling.

Following its second consecutive sold out year, The Elora Adventure Film Festival is now making its way to the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre. Ian Evans, the founder of the festival, will showcase a selection of short films from the 2024 event. These films celebrate ordinary individuals accomplishing extraordinary feats in adventure and exploration.

With his perspective as both a filmmaker and festival organizer, Ian will provide behind-the-scenes insights into these remarkable stories. The evening will conclude with a question-and-answer session, allowing attendees to learn more about the world of adventure filmmaking.

This event is recommended for individuals aged 16 and older and is proudly presented by Georgian College. Tickets are $10 for Museum members and $15 for non-members. Seating is limited. Tickets can be purchased at brucemuseum.ca.

About Ian Evans

Ian is the Founder of the Elora Adventure Film Festival and has embraced adventure all his life – from scaling the shed roof at age 3 to skiing to the South Pole at age 58. He has climbed 5 of the 7 Summits, cycled 5,000 KMS unsupported across Australia (twice) around the coastline of Iceland, to the Arctic Ocean, 8,000 kms across Canada, and run 10 marathons. Ian produced the documentary Lunatic: Life Begins at the End of Your Comfort Zone, after becoming the oldest Canadian to ski from the coast of Antarctica to the South Pole.
