All aboard! Our popular Seniors’ Bus Trip is back for another exciting excursion to Stratford! Prepare for a day filled with laughter, music, and theatrical charm as we Break out of the Bruce to see the uproarious Shakespearean musical, “Something Rotten!”  

 

About the Show 

 

This captivating musical comedy, based on a book by John O’Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick, with music and lyrics by Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick, will transport you to the vibrant world of 1595. 

Journey along with the Bottom brothers, Nick and Nigel, as they navigate the challenges of finding success in the theatrical realm while contending with the unparalleled popularity of their contemporary, William Shakespeare. 

 

Reserve your seat now and join us for a day of camaraderie, laughter, and the magic of musical storytelling. 

 

Adults 55+ | $80 per person

Preregistration is required. 

Itinerary

 

8:30 AM: Meet at the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre (33 Victoria St. N Southampton, ON).

 

8:45 AM: Departure time from the Museum.

 

11:00 AM: Approximate arrival at the Boars Head Pub in Stratford (161 Ontario Street, Stratford, ON N5A 3H3).

 

11:00 AM – 1:45 PM: Lunch break. Lunch is self-guided, and guests are free to explore.

 

1:45 PM – 2:00 PM: Meet back at the Boars Head Pub and travel to venue for the 2:00 PM show start.

 

Approx. 6:30 PM – 7:00 PM: Board the bus for the return trip to the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre.

 

Refreshments: Basic refreshments (water) will be served on the bus.
