Have you ever wondered about why your ancestors came to Ontario?  

How they decided where to sail from, what to bring, and what the voyage was like?   

How did they get from the port to their land?   

  

Deb and Bill McAuslan, will help to answer these questions, using the diary of George Laird who came from Ireland in 1847 to guide the presentation.
