For the past 10 weeks, participants of the “I’m Not Done Yet” Creative Arts Workshop have been exploring storytelling, acting, music, and gentle movement. Led by Joan Chandler (acting, theatre and improvisation) and david sereda (singing and songwriting) of Sheatre, plus guest artists, the group has been exercising their creative skills, crafting original scenes, songs, and performances. You are invited for the final show!

Sheatre is a seniors-led, community-engaged arts organization who delivered the “I’m Not Done Yet” creative arts workshops at the BCM&CC. Sheatre is an award-winning, community-based arts company with 39 years of experience using the arts for social change. They partner with diverse and often underrepresented communities to co-create innovative workshops and interactive performances that explore identity, social issues, and lived experience. Their artist-facilitators use theatre, music, and other arts to support expression, healing, and connection.
Chantry Singers

The Chantry Singers are a longstanding community choir based in Saugeen Shores. The choir has members from across Bruce and Grey counties and focuses on fostering the enjoyment and development of choral music. Many members are retirees or older adults, this is a great group to get involved with for those who enjoy engagement through participation and performance.
