Join us for this magical holiday evening

Start a new tradition this holiday season and bring your whole family to have a “Hallmark” moment at the first “light-up” of the Museum’s historic pioneer buildings. Throughout the evening enjoy seasonal activities and beverages, cash bar with mulled wine and hot cider. Capture the magic of this evening by having a photo taken by our photographer, we will email your special shot following the event.

What can you expect? A full evening of activities your whole family with enjoy!

One the Museum’s professional photographers, John White, will be stationed at the Historic Log Cabin to snap a photo of you and your family in this lit up wonderland from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM

 

There are craft stations for your little ones to make Reindeer Feed Treat Bags for Santa’s team on Christmas Eve, get in a last minute wish in the Santa Letter station, and make XMAS Emergency Soup Jars that could be a gift or enjoyed over the holidays.

 

Doug Archer will be reading from his recent publications on HMS General Hunter, grab your copy in the Gift Shop too!

Rabbit Dash Cafe will be offering up hot chocolate, tea and coffee to keep you warm throughout the evening!

 

Welcoming back Celtic Academy Canada for dance demonstrations in the Bruce Power Theatre.

 

Of Course Santa Claus will be at the Museum too! Families will be able to sign their little explorers up to get a photo with the big guy. There are only 18 spaces available throughout the evening, register when you arrive at Visitor Services Reception, first come-first served.

 

Proof of vaccination is required for ages 12+ to attend at this event.

All COVID-19 procedures are in place for visitation and events, per Provincial and Grey Bruce Health Unit guidelines.
