Summer Explorers Camp

July 1, 2026

- August 31, 2026

8:30 am
 – 4:30 pm

July and August | 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

SOLD OUT!

Designed for children ages 5–10, the BCM&CC’s Summer Explorers Camp blends hands‑on fun, creative learning, and memorable adventures. Campers will explore each week’s theme through interactive exhibits, crafts, games, field trips, and visits from special guests who spark curiosity and excitement.

With hiking trails, lakes, parks, and a splash pad just steps away, the BCM&CC offers the perfect setting for outdoor exploration and summertime play. Give your child a season filled with discovery, laughter, and experiences they’ll remember long after summer ends.

Woodland Explorers (July 6-10) – Venture into the forest and discover the stories, teachings, and surprises the land has to share. Inspired by the Woodland People exhibit, campers will explore nature through art, imagination, Indigenous perspectives, and hands-on skills. We’ll see how people have learned with the land for generations, and how the land continues to teach us today.

Treasure Island (July 13 – 17) – Hoist the sails and join the crew as we chart a course across the mighty Great Lakes exploring the rocky shores and mysterious islands! With secret maps to follow, creations to build, and shipwrecks to discover, this week will satisfy every Summer Explorer’s sense of adventure.

Copycats (August 17 – 21) – Discover how nature sparks brilliant human ideas as we explore the clever ways plants, animals, artists, and inventors “copy” the world around them. Featuring our summer exhibit “Inspiring Nature, Inspired Techno, Biomimicry & Transport”, we’ll become copycats as we create designs, spot patterns, and mimic movements. After all, imitation is the finest form of flattery!

History’s Mysteries (August 24 – 28) – Become a history-hunting investigator as we uncover puzzling stories, strange artifacts, and unsolved mysteries from across the ages – including a few right here in Bruce County! With clues to follow, riddles to unravel, and discoveries to pieces together, we will explore the past and unlock the secrets left behind.

$250/week Members | $280/week Non-Members (Plus applicable fees)

Ages 5-10 | Preregistration and prepayment for the full 5 days is required.

Proudly presented by Bruce Power.
