Early Bird Tickets now on sale for BCM&CC’s October 19th event, LIVE: An Evening with Jesse Wente

The Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is thrilled to announce the launch of early bird tickets for the highly anticipated event, “LIVE: An Evening with Jesse Wente.” Taking place on October 19, 2023, at the Unifor Family Centre in Port Elgin, this evening promises to be a captivating and thought-provoking experience.

Jesse Wente, an esteemed Indigenous broadcaster, film critic, and cultural advocate, will take the stage for a one-of-a-kind live discussion. Known for his profound insights on Indigenous representation in media and the arts, Jesse Wente will share his personal journey and engage the audience in a dynamic dialogue on the challenges that exist to achieving both truth and reconciliation in Canada and what can be done to further the process.

To accommodate the overwhelming interest in this event, the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre is pleased to offer $65 early bird tickets starting today. By purchasing early bird tickets, attendees can secure their spot at a discounted rate while ensuring a prime seat for this unforgettable evening.

“With ‘An Evening Live with Jesse Wente,’ we aim to create a platform for meaningful conversations about Indigenous perspectives in media,” says BCM&CC Director Cathy McGirr. “This event aligns perfectly with our commitment to promoting cultural understanding and inclusivity in our community. We encourage everyone to take advantage of the early bird ticket offer and be a part of this enlightening experience.”

Tickets for “An Evening Live with Jesse Wente” can be purchased online through the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre website at brucemuseum.ca or by phone at 519-797-2080. Early bird ticket sales will be available until August 31, or until early bird tickets are sold out.
